Henry Washington and Independence Realty hosted the Financial Freedom Mastermind & Mixer in Rogers, Arkansas featuring an all-black panel with five of America's most influential entrepreneurs. Presenters included successful entrepreneurs in fields such as real estate and investment, brand development, and financial education. Henry Washington (@THEHENRYWASHINGTON) of Independence Realty, teamed with serial entrepreneur Charles Oglesby (@TODDBILLION) of Todd Capital in Los Angeles, business and finance coach George Pitts (@MRMONETIZEEVERYTHING) of MrGeorgePitts.com in Oklahoma City, digital content creator and entrepreneur Andre Haynes (@RENAISSANCE125) of therenaissanceu.com in Chicago, and real estate mogul Lamon Woods (@1_800HUSTLA) of Woods Family Estates in Monroe, Louisiana to treat audiences with life-changing financial education in a casual, approachable and authentic setting. Friday night consisted of a mixer networking event and Saturday’s Mastermind allowed guests to hear personal stories from each presenter’s entrepreneurial journey and share successful financial strategies.

Tiffany Daniels attended the event with her husband Dr. Joe Daniels and their daughter Emory. She spoke about the impact of having an all-black panel discussing strategies to build generational wealth. “It’s extremely powerful... they become touchable,” echoing a sentiment from her father-in-law. “It hits you differently because they’re speaking from perspectives you can relate to.” Daniels looks forward to the next seminar and the addition of women panelists to future presentations. Robyn Jordan also attended the Saturday Mastermind. "If I can see someone who looks like me, who I identify within paces that I've never been, then I know I can be in those places too," Jordan said about the all-black panel of successful entrepreneurs.

Oglesby reflected, “Seeing our version of it, our iteration of it is going to inspire so many people to know that it’s possible, that they can attain it.” He continued, “to know that we’re no different than them… I don’t live in a world where racism doesn’t exist, I’ve gotta go through the same things you go through and if I’ve been able to have some success you can do it too.” Washington expressed a desire for the messages to resonate with black and brown audiences that often are excluded from wealth-building information.
