incARceraTed is an interactive event series illuminating the unique, transformative relationship between art and America’s criminal justice system. incARceraTed engages communities on stringent issues of criminal justice and capital punishment reform, entrepreneurship and hope.


Visionairi is honored to release the “Showstoppa” snapbacks, highlighting the Mae Reeves collection.

Mae Reeves, an African-American milliner was one of the first Black women to own a large business in downtown Philadelphia.

Known for her craftsmanship and creative flair, Mae’s signature “Showstopper” hat was a favorite of Black fashion icons.

This modern release is our salute to Mae Reeves, a TRU Visionairi.

MAFL was honored to partner with the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation to present the Nurture the Narrative weekend in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on November 3rd & 4th, 2023!

The Nurture the Narrative events included a hands on production lab on November 3rd focused on podcast creation at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. A Nurture the Narrative Micheaux Social on November 4th featured a documentary screening of A Song of the Bluff with community discussion and networking at the ArtSpace on Main.
